Highsnobiety

i-D continue their series exploring Britain's unique mosaic of subcultures by highlighting the impact Supreme and the internet have had on the country's stylish youths. Directed by Ewen Spencer (who shot the UK's garage and grime golden years back in the early ’00s), the mini-doc delves into the internet's impact on contemporary youth culture, interviewing young Supreme, Moschino and Versace collectors who wax lyrical on the impact the online world has had on their culture.

While many claim the internet has completely revolutionized typical notions of youth culture, Spencer's film takes a more pragmatic approach, arguing that today's youths are simply interpreting and appropriating the ideas and styles of previous generations.

Check out the film above and afterwards feast your eyes on i-D's mini film delving into the history of grime.
